Oh, I want to send one of my favorite best birthday wishes to you, my dear friend, Donna. This is one of my favorite pictures from my stay with you in Ghana 18 years ago. It reflects the wonderful woman I got to know during that time. A wife who honored and respected her missionary/pastor husband and on that day was excited about giving him the surprise birthday gift. A mother, who like a mother hen, loved to have her children gathered around her. Over the years you have continued to press and give from yourself even when you felt you had nothing more to give. You have weathered more storms than can be counted. You have loved like Jesus loves—with undying selflessness, compassion, and multiplied grace.
